B-32 Northern Parula Warbler Bird


One of the smallest warblers, this songbird was originally named the Blue Yellow-backed Warbler. The Northern Parula can be found in two rather distinct populations. The southern population nests mostly in hanging Spanish moss and the northern population uses the old man’s beard lichen which looks very similar.
