CM-43 Book of Kell’s Geese Corner
$200.00
Traditionally the spirit of God is depicted as a dove in Christian texts. However, the dove, being a more southern bird was a foreign concept to the more northerly Celts. To rectify this an abbot and theologian on the island of Iona which is off the coast of Scotland came up with the goose to symbolize the wild spirit of God.
