B-49 Bobolink Bird
Small songbird that lives in the northern parts of the United States in summer and migrates to the southern states and South America in the winter. The Bobolink, one of the world’s most travelled songbirds, migrates around 12,500 miles (20,000 kilometers) to and from southern South America every year. This type of long distance migrating adds up – Bobolinks may travel the equivalent of four or five times around the circumference of the earth during their lifetime.
